Katazome Kimono

This project has been running around in my head since I spent 2 weeks at John Marshall's a couple years ago. Before I can do the Katazome, I have to weave the fabric, this will be my first project in 2009.

I have to plan and plan and plan. Gather my equipment, get everything ready, probably the reason I'm so slow. Now that I'm logging everything, I'll probably be twice as slow.

Equipment:

• Tools of the Trade Loom, 1/2 sectional warp beam, 30 dent reed
• AVL Warping wheel
• spool holder
  

Supplies:

• 60/2 silk, warped 3 strands as one.  

30 epi, 20 inches wide, 15 yards total.
